Pallet Town.Starting Journey.

Skye turned to Scrapps and nodded"Yeah,I'm sure once I train Ziggy I can battle and easily beat the gym.Still.I need another pokemon.Scrapps,Let's go to the pokemon Center in Pewter.It's the closest one."Skye said looking at tall patches of grass.

Quills sat down, and Scrappy picked him up. "You were awesome, Quills! Way to go!" The two slapped paws/hands. And smiled. "You heading to Pewter too?" Scrappy asked. "I Here the leader there uses rock types...that should be interesting."

Skye nodded and looked down at Ziggy"Good work."Ziggy nodded then said"Zigg..Zaggoon" (x.x) Ziggy passed out.Skye picked him up off the ground."I can't wait till I get my first badge!"Skye said in excitement.

Quills landed. He walked back to Scrappy and squeaked. "Quills wants to call it a draw." Scrappy translated to Skye.

"Ziggy!Run out of the smokescreen!!"Ziggy ran in zigzags near a small little lake.

Quills was breathing heavily. Scrappy winced, he hated to see his buddy this way. "He needs a work out...this is for the best." He said to himself. "Quills, use Smokescreen followed by tackle!" He commanded. Quills jumped in the air, but not as far as before he then sputtered a small amount of Smoke before turning to dive at Mikey. It was obvious he was dead tired.

Skye looked at Ziggy."Do the best you can buddy!!"Ziggy turned to look at Skye when he got tackled by Quills.Ziggy fell but got back up looking at Quills in exhaustion.

Scrappy watched Quills bounce back, landing on his back. "Come on, Quills...." Luckily Cyndaquil popped up looking alert. He then ran up to mikey and attempted a tackle in mid air.

Skye coughed"Ziggy!Use tackle on him!"Skye coughed hoping Ziggy wasn't knocked out already.Luckily he was still up.Ziggy tackled Quills which just enough strength to push him back.

"Ah!" said Scrappy in shock as Quills try to squirm away from the bigger pokemon's strength. "Erm...Quills, used smokescreen, in his face!" He said. Quills sputtered a thick cloud of smoke into Mikey's eyes.

"Mikey tackle!!"Skye screamed.Zigzagoon was too slow to move in and tackle but intead went into a head lock with Quils.

Cyndaquil was too fast, he was more used to the smoke than Zigzagoon was, he turned himself on a dime and lowered his head charging at Mikey once more.

"Mikey,Use your sense's boy!"Skye said coughing roughly.Zigzagoon rolled to the side as Quill came at him.

Luckily, the smoke was to dense for Quills to see it. "Quils, *cough* Use *cough* Tackle!" Said Scrappy. Quills jetted off in the direction he last saw Zigzagoon, and with his speed he was there in seconds to hit Mikey in the chest.

"Mikey.Use TailWhip!"Skye said as Zigzagoon wagged it's tail.

"Alright, Quill's we worked on this...Ready?" Cyndaquil bounded about 7 feet into the air. "Now, Smokescreen!" Scrappy said. Quills opened his mouth sputtering out smoke. It wasn't quite enough, but it'd do the job. Only the outlines of the two pokemon could be seen on the dusty road.

"Mikey!!Look!"Skye screamed to make sure Zigzagoon didn't get hit,but as he turned he was hit by Quils."Mikey!You okay?"Skye asked.Zigzagoon nodded and charged at Quil knowing what to do.

This time Quills was ready, he dodged it, bouncing back and then into the air. "Now, tackle him, head on!" Roared Scrappy. And Quills spun into a sharp dive heading straight for Mikey.

"Mikey!Go and jump and tackle again!"Zigzagoon jumped into the air and tackled Quills

"Watch it, Quills! Dodge it!" Scrappy said. His Cyndaquil lept back but was still hit by the tackle of zigzagoon. "Come on, Quills, use some of that speed and tackle him back!" Scrappy commanded.

Skye looked at Zigzagoon as he nodded."Alright Mikey!How about it!Go now and use tackle!!"Skye said pointing at Quils.Zigzagoon quickly ran in Zigzags at Quills and tackled him.

Scrappy glared. "Quills isn't fat." Cyndaquil Jumped to the ground growling at Skyler. Scrappy scooted him back with his leg. "Shut up, Skye. Quill's be able to trump Your zigzagoon in no time...matter of fact he may be able to now. You in, Quills?" He asked. The Cyndaquil nodded and snorted it's nose. "Alright let's do this!" ((BATTLE ON!!!!))

Skye shrugged looking at Scrappy then at Quill's and back at Scrapps saying"Well,your's isnt in tip top shape either buddy!I mean look at him.At least Mikey will soon learn water type moves and electric moves!Your can only learn,What?Fire moves?Ha,When my Mikey evolves,He'll pawn you!"Skye looked at him with eyes of glory as he imagined himself beating Scrappy over and over."So then,How bout a battle?"Skye offered.

Scrappy ran out onto the road, his heart beating with excitment. Sure he wanted to start his pokemon journey back in Cianwood, but this was better, more new places to explore. He beamed up to Quills, his Cyndaquil buddy who was resting on his shoulder. "Are you ready, Quills?? Our epic journey has begun!" Quills clapped his paws and squeaked. Scrappy laughed with him.
Then he passed a house where a boy around his age was standing with his pokemon. He squinted his eyes trying to make out the face and then he realized it was Skyler and Mikey.
"Woah! Skye, I haven't seen you in years, Kanto is where you moved!" He said smiling. "And Mikey looks....well....kinda fat. Don't worry Quills hasn't had much training either, He has been more of a friend all these years than a battler! Ha, but that's gonna change, right buddy?" He asked nudging Cyndaquil.
"Quill!" Said Cyndaquil nodding.

Skye came out of his house smelling the freshair his Zigzagoon out of his ball.He looked down at his Pokemon"Hey Mikey,How cool is it!?We're starting out our journey!!"Skye smiled making a fist.
