Touring the town CLOSED

Lowell reenters Pewter City, his Pokemon safely inside their Pokeballs. He looks around a bit, to get a better feel for the city.

After walking around abit you find the city isn't really all that big. There's a small returant, Pokemon center, Pokemart and a park. You see a small stream as well. You see a trainer standing by the stream. Curiousity get the better of you and you deside to meet the female trainer.

Lowell walks down the stream, watching some fish swim in the water. He walks over to the girl standing by the stream. "Excuse me, but are you a Pokemon trainer?"

Saroya turns from the small stream. "Yep. Names Saroya. Yours?" She grins in a happy fasion. Her main pokemon team was gone and now she only had three pokeballs on her belt. Each newly caught.

"I'm Lowell. From Cerulean City. I just got my first Pokemon, and won the Boulder Badge...What have you got so far?" Lowell asks.

Saroya smiled. "I have all of the badges, I've been a tranier for four years though. It was a pain to get them all." She shifts her feet. So what pokemon you got so far?"

Lowell shows her his trainer card. "Wartortle, Poliwag, and Minun. My parents gave me a love of Water Pokemon, plus we live in Cerulean City, so there's that. I suppose I'm off to a pretty good start, I just got Wartortle today."

"Sweet! I put back my old team that I've had for awhile. These ones are new." She points to her belt. "Hey want to battle? These gus need experiance and It'll be good for your team too."

"Sounds good! I think my Pokemon are all set to battle, and I've been looking for one." Lowell says cheerfully.

Perfect!" Saroya grabs one of the pokeballs. "Hope your ready! Go Weeping Bell!" Saroya lets the grass pokemon out. "Let's see what you got!"

Lowell thinks for a minute about which Pokemon to use. "OK! Let's go, Minun!" Minun flips out of his Pokeball, ready to battle. "Ready!"

"Weeping Bell use vine whip!" Saroya yells. The attack comes strait toward minun. Getting ready to attack.

"Look out, Minun! Dodge!" Minun jumps away, just dodging the vine. "Okay, Minun, use Thunderwave!"

Weeping Bell is hit by the attack. Thankfully is not paralized. "Quick Weeping bell use takedown!" Weeping Bell tackes Minun causing minor damage. Weeping bell from the attack also is hurt.

Lowell makes sure Minun is OK. "OK, Minun, try using Thunderbolt!" Lowell says.

"Weeping Bell Jump!" The pokemon is still hit by the attack. "Try vine whip!" The ropes smak into Minun. Throwing it off it's feet.

"Minun! You OK?" Lowell asks. Minun is able to get to its feet, but it is obviously roughed up. "You're doing fine, Minun. Try using Thunderbolt again!"

The attack hits again. "Weeping Bell try Stunspore!" The attack hits paralizing minun. "Now Take Down!"

Not wanting the paralyzed Minun to be KO'd, Lowell returns him to his Pokeball. "Dangit...Minun wasn't strong enough. But I can do better!" Lowell gets another Pokeball out. "Go Wartortle! Use Mega Kick on Weepingbell!"

The attack hits. Koing Weeping bell, Wartotle grows to Lv. 16, Minun grows to Lv. 12, Weeping bell was Lv. 14.

"Darn." Saroya grabs another pokeball. "Go Elekid!" The electric pokemon appered from the pokeball. "Use Thunder!" Elekid lets lose a large blast of lighting hitting Wartortle. Despit that attack Wartortle stands back onto his feet. the attack had done alot of damage.

Lowell curses silently. Wartortle was hit hard by that attack. "Don't worry, Wartortle! Use Mega Kick on Elekid!" Lowell shouts.

"Elekid use mega punch!" The two attacks hit. Throwing both back. Elekid stands back onto his feet.

Wartortle, despite being hurt more, is able to get back up. He's ready to keep fighting. Lowell is relieved. "OK, Wartortle...try using Withdraw, and then spin over towards Elekid!" Wartortle attempts the move, spinning in his shell toward Elekid...

Elekid is hit but grabs onto Wartortles shell, he threw the pokemon back. Wartortle lands on his feet not even hurt. "Elekid! UseMega punch!" Elekid jumps at Wartortle hoping to hit him hard.

Wartortle uses Mega Kick, and they collide again. Wartortle hits the ground hard, but is able to stand. He winces in a bit of pain. "Are you OK, Wartortle?" Lowell asks. Wartortle responds affirmatively. "OK, if you're sure, then try using Mega Kick again!"

The attack hits throwing Elekid back. Doing a flip Elekid lands on his feet. This kids pretty good for a new tranier... Saroya thinks silently. "Elekid its time to end this! Use Agility!" Quickly Elekid speeds around Wartortle waiting for his traniers next comand.

Lowell nervously examines the situation. As soon as Elekid attacks again, Wartortle will probably be finished. I think I have an idea, though...

"Wartortle! Use Withdraw and spin in your shell!" Lowell commands. Wartortle does so, throwing up puffs of dust around him. Hopefully Elekid can't see him now. Lowell thought.

Elekid is blinded. Damn! Good move. "Elekid! Jump!" Elekid jumped from the dust rubbing his eyes. He is quickly hit in the stomach by Wartortle's headbutt. Then is kicked up higher in the air by a mega kick. "Shoot...Wait a minute... Elekid! Drop down and use Thunder!" With this attack and him falling Elekid will double his speed turning him literaliy into a lighting bolt!

Wartortle's in trouble... Lowell thought. He can't move away from the attack in time!

Lowell evaluates the options. There aren't many. I guess I just need to try KOing Elekid too. Lowell decided. "Wartortle, jump up and use Headbutt!" Wartortle jumps at Elekid...

The to attacks hit. Causing an explosion. Saroya sheilds her eyes. What a attack, I didn't think he would do that. Saroya smiles. He'll be a great trainer someday... Soon the smoke clears. Both Wartortle and Elekid on the ground. Both KO'd. "Elekid return!" Saroya lets Elekid back into his pokeball. "Now, Hope your ready for this pokemon! Go Houndoom!"

Lowell returns Wartortle to his Pokeball. "Go, Poliwag!" Lowell says, releasing his tadpole Pokemon from his Pokeball. Poliwag flips excitedly. "Hope you're ready, Poliwag! Now, use Bubble Beam!" Lowell says excitedly.

Houndoom jumps over the attack. "Houndoom use flamethrower!" Hounddoom lets lose a large blast of flames strait toward Poilwag.

Poliwag tries to dive out of the way, but can't get away in time. He'se pushed back by the flames, but his Water type saved him from being KO'd. "OK Poliwag, jump into the stream, then use Water Gun!" Lowell says. Poliwag obeys, and jumps into the stream. After a few moments, a jet of water erupts from the surface, heading towards Houndoom...

Houndoom jumps away from the blasts. "Houndoom! Use overheat to evaporat the water!" Houndoom let loss a large blast of flames 10 times bigger then a flamethrower. Slowly caussing the water to turn into air. Causing a large amount of mist when all the water is gone.

Poliwag flips around in the small puddles of water still remaining. Damnit, he lost his advantage! Lowell thinks. "OK, Poliwag, jump at Houndoom and use Bubble Beam!"

The attack hits but Houndoom stays his ground. Not even looking hurt. Only showing a slight flinch and descomfort. "Houndoom! Take down!"

Poliwag is hit by the Take Down and flips into the air. Thinking quickly, however, he spins to face downward and unleashes a Water Gun at Houndoom.

Houndoom jumps away from the attack. He sends another flamethrower his way.

Poliwag is hit, and falls into the puddles of water again. "Poliwag, you OK?" Lowell asked, concerned. Poliwag nodded. "OK, then try using Water Gun again!"

Houndoom is hit but charges again. "Houndoom! Use Metal claw!" Houndoom's claws turn silver and he jumps to poilwag.

Poliwag is thrown backwards, and bounces off a tree. He's badly beat up, and very tired. "Poliwag, return!" Lowell says. Hopefully Minun can give Poliwag a chance to rest for a while. Lowell thinks. "Go Minun! Use Thunderwave!" Minun, despite still being injured, does his best, and attacks Houndoom.

Houndoom jumps over the attack. Lowell's on his last legs here... Soon the pokemon charges again.

"Minun! Use Thunderbolt!" Lowell says. Minun flips up, and throws a Thunderbolt attack at Houndoom...

"Houndoom! Use flamethrower!" Houndoom lets lose a blast of flames hitting the thunderbolt.

Minun is pushed back by the explosion, but is still standing. Minun charges its electricity. "Use Thunderbolt again, Minun!" Lowell says. Minun lets loose a bolt of electricity at Houndoom.

The attack hits but Houndoom charges back with another metal claw. "Go Houndoom!"

Minun is sent flying by the Metal Claw, but manages to recover and attack Houndoom with another Thunderwave.

"Time to end this!" Saroya yells. she points upward. Houndoom seeing the signal jumps over the attack. "Now use Overheat!"

Crud! If Minun's defeated, Poliwag's the only one left, and he's not in shape to fight yet... Lowell thinks. "Minun, try to get away!" Minun runs, but is still hit by the attack. He is KO'd."Dangit! Good try, Minun..." Lowell returns Minn to his Pokeball. He releases Poliwag, who is prepared to fight, even though he only has a small amount of strength left.

"Alright Houndoom. Use take down!"
