A visit to water

Brushing the little seeds that clung to her legs off, Ashley paused at the water's edge and peering down over it. Her reflection gazed back at her, soon joined by her two pokemon.
"I wonder what kind of water pokemon live here?" She voiced to them as she stepped back from the edge. "It wouldn't hurt to add something like a Chinchou or something to the team now would it?" Loki, her Houndour barked in agreement as Charcoal sniffed the waters edge.

::as the two pok'emon look into the water, something begins to move under the water! Possibly being attracted by the scent of a fire type, which would be a easy battle. Fog swirls around the water, covering the approaching pok'emon from view. A mermaid -like shadow burst from the water gold surrounding it. The shadow landed on the ground, and the fog cleared. When it cleared, a beautiful gold-eyed vaporeon stared into your eyes looking like it wanted to battle so it could get stronger. . .::

Battle it?

Both let out a yelp of surprise as the appearance of the Vaporeon while their trainer stared wide eyed at it.
“A Vaporeon?” Ashley was amazed. She knew Eevee and its evolutions were extremely rare to find even with trainers so it was surprising to find one out in the wild. Ashley pondered whether or not to run when Loki bounded out in front to her, growling at the Vaporeon. It looked like he wanted to fight it. Though she knew he still had a disadvantage to the water Pokémon she called out.
“Use Bite!”

::The vaporeon Leapt backwards but got bit anyway, scowling in pain. it turned back a small smile on its face and used mist to hide itself before unleashing the next move. Seconds later, It unleashed Water gun quickly knowing it would hit hard if it did do any damage. . .::




(is vaporeon ok? It'a the first thing that popped into my head)

Loki looked around as the mist set in. He tried to smell where the Vaporeon was but howled as the water gun hit, knocking him back and taking a quite bit of damage. Loki could still stand though shakily and he waited for Ashley to give him another order.

"Try a Counter," The girl told him, watching him nod and rush into the mist to find Vaporeon.

(OOC: It's alright. I really like Vaporeon )

:: The vaporeon sensed the poke'mon coming but had no time to react as counter hit hard. Counter was a critical hit. Barely being able to stand, the vaporeon used Dive to make itself invisible, and then came charging up with aqua tail, but halfway there, it collapsed in the grass. Its' tail hit the grass and made a loud, 'THUMP' followed by a small shcokwave which could do a but of damage if it hit but now was the time to throw a poke'ball! (if you want to)::

"Jump up Loki!" Ashley cried to the Houndour. Following what she said, the canine used the rest of his strength to jump up and avoid the shockwave. Ashley seeing her chance to catch the vaporeon threw a Pokeball at it and hoped it was caught as she hurried over to her pokemon to use a potion on him.

:: As Loki was healed, you both turned to look back at the poke'ball. It was bouncing back and forth back and forth back and forth . . . This moment seemed like forever before . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The cap on the ball clicked. ::

Giving a sigh as the ball clicked to show the Pokémon had been captured; Ashley rose to her feet and picked up the ball.
“You were kinda troublesome but that doesn’t matter. You’re a part of the team now, Vanduo.” Ashley spoke to the Pokémon inside. ‘The name meant water, which is very original,’ Ashley thought dryly ‘but it suits him.’
