Training for the Gym CLOSED

Lowell brings his Pokemon to the outskirts of Vermillion City. He's prepared to get some training in so he can beat Lt. Surge. He releases all of his Pokemon.

"OK everyone, we're going to get some training in. Since Lt. Surge uses Electric pokemon, the rest of you will need to make up for the fact that Wartortle and Poliwag are at a disadvantage." Lowell turns to Bonsly who, as the only Rock type, is the only one with an advantage against Surge's electric Pokemon.

"Bonsly, start off by using a Mega Kick on that tree!" Lowell says.

Bonsy does just that and kicks strait through the trunck. Making the tree fall over. Showing its improvment from all of the battles its done.

"Good job! Riolu, use Focus Punch to make the tree break apart! Bonsly, use Mega Kick on the ground and try to make a hole!" Lowell says, pointing enthusiastically.

Riolu jumps at the tree and bashs the tree into splinters, while Bonsly creats a small creater from the attack. Riolu looks back at you and grins.

"Excellent, guys!" Lowell says. "Bonsly, use Rock Throw to try and crack that rock over there! HootHoot, use Gust and try to kick up a dirt tornado, and Minun, you use Thunder on that hill over there!" Lowell says, directing his Pokemon.

Bonsly noddes before doing what you say. Hoothoot works on gust and minun works on thunder.

"Good work! Now, this next one's for all of you: combine your best attacks on that rock, and try to reduce it to fragments!" Lowell says.

All of the pokemon nod and do as you see, but this time Riolu trys a new attack. He forms a small Sphere and him and the other pokemon destroy the large rock. Riolu had learned Arura Sphere.

OOC: Can he learn more than four moves, or does he have to forget a move?

OCC:I desided that the maximum amount of moves is Five. I mean the serise pokemon do over 6 moves it seems.

Lowell has the Pokemon combine there attacks again, on a second boulder.

After awhile oftraining and smashing boulders Minum grows another level.

"Good jon, Minun!" Lowell says. He turns to Bonsly, who, as the only Pokemon with a strength against Electric-type, needs to be well-prepared. "Bonsly, use Rock Throw to try to block that stream!" Lowell says.

The rock pokemon grips a large bolder and tosses it into the river. Angry when it's not pluged up. Then repets the process, this time stopping the river.

"Great job, Bonsly!" Lowell says, watching Bonsly's throws. "We'll need your Rock Throw if we're going to beat this Gym. " Lowell tosses a handful of medium-sized rocks to Bonsly. "Do you think you can use Rock Throw to make these into a pyramid? Try it out!"

Bonsly nods and gets to work on the pyramid. Riolu on the other hand starts sing aura sphere on a near by tree.

"Good work, guys! Bonsly, once you're done with that pyramid..." Lowell began. "Wartortle, Poliwag, you guys overflow the river with water, and Bonsly, you try to block the river again before it breaks through!"

All of the pokemon rush doing what you say, Bonsly blocks the river before it can over flow, while Poilwag and Wartortile fill up the river with water.

Lowell watches their work. "Good job." He looks up at the sky, which is starting to darken. His watch says 6 o'clock. "Oh, we'll probably need to head back to the hotel for dinner soon." he said. "OK, everyone, one last move! Everyone focus your attacks and smash that boulder!"

They do as you say quickly smashing the boulder, during the attack poilwag gains a level

Lowell congratulates his Pokemon on a job well done. He returns them to their Pokeballs, and heads back towards Vermillion City. Tomorrow, he will take on the Gym...
