Riot's eyes would sparkle looking into the Pikachu's eyes, as he smiled Greatly, he decided he would count him as a Friend not a Pokemon, traveling with him always and never returning him. "Ok Professor, thank you." he said waving as him and Pikachu walked out the door heading onwards to their next location they were meant to go to.

::PRofessor was surprised of how you had made your choice as he watched curiously as the pokeballs fell silent until you finally picked one of them up and as it was close to your face you turned it around the opening facing outward you heard a popping sound as a white light emmited itself and a yellow mouse looking pokemon looked back to you with its black eyes and the red spots on its cheeks for it was a pikachu.::

Riot's eyes widened a good bit looking at the four Pokeballs, focusing on witch one he thought suited him best he started to bend down with his hand hovering the Pokeball, he hovered the first one as nothing happened he moved on to the second one, nothing, the third one happened just alike, there was nothing. Now he put his hand above the last, middle Pokeball as it felt like a small shock suddenly his hand plopped onto the Pokeball picking it up. He held it close to his face wondering if it really was a Pikachu.

::As he sees that the boy is distracted and wondering wherethe pokeballs where he was surprised for he thought that the trainer knew of his trick counter. "Well if you wait a second you'll see them and the fun part of this is YOU get to choose the starter! Tere are four different kinds. Charmander which is a fire-type, Bulbasaur which is a Grass-type, Squirtle which happens to be a Water-type, and finally Pikachu which is a electric-type." He said as he pushed a button that made four pokeballs come zooming upward and now the empty holes where filled with pokeballs that seemed to hover at the top eventhough the holes now where covered so that the pokeballs could rest on the counter itself and it was time for Riot to choose his starter pokemon who will become his very best friend and first pokemon...::

"Why yes I am sir." He said smiling very happily following the professor for his starter Pokemon, he was kind of distracted from the huge and cool place he was in, nether the less he also didn't seem to get why the counter had four holes in it, "So where's my starter Pokemon, professor?" he asked him nicely not seeing a Pokeball that was to contain his starter he just acted like h knew what it meant watching carefully.

::The professor felt something different in his lab for instance there was somewhat ofan electricity flowing through and it was very happy and excited to be here. As he looked up and saw you in the lab he looked at you and felt the electrical surge between the two of you as his polite smile spread upon his face he went toward you for he knew that you had to of been a trainer who was excited to get his or her first pokemon. As he came closer he finally spoke to you, "Hello and welcome my name is professor oak! I take it you are here to get your first pokemon? I noticed you are very ecited to meet me am I right?" He asked for he knew that you where very excited as he led you to the counter with its four holes in its center.::

As Riot wold exit his house he was thinking pure happiness of his first starter Pokemon, he had hoped it would be one of those Pikachu those always seemed to make him excited as the thunder in them made his heart feel pure, so he walked along throughout town after saying goodbye to his family he started walking along up to the professor's laboratory. He smiled with happiness just walking there he was really really excited, over excited is a better words for it.
