JOURNEY BACK (CLOSED)

Sam exits the pokecenter having everything that she needed for her trip back and with plenty change left. She also had some new experience and she was returning to her home to battle Misty finally able to there was one thing she had to do though she HAD to find an Electric pokemon cause electric attacks did wonders against the water pokemon and it would give her a leg up against her. Her footsteps echoed off of the street that was the trail to where she was heading she had just taken this route and this time it was more fun then adventurous although it was all the same. She wore a smile and a positive image. Now she dared pokemon to challenger her although she did need to get Fur and Jethro more exp. cause Water had, had enough to last her. The grass grew wild and the sun was high the road was a pale yellow almost like earth colored trees full of plumage where here and there and there was a wall of rock which looked trecherous for rocks could fall off very easy.

Not far off a small Plusle (sp?) is roaming in some of the taller grass. You do not see the pokemon and end up entering its territory. In surprise the smaller being yelps and jumps back on all fours, letting out some staic in fright. Waitting for you to pull out a pokeball and battle.

They see the plusle as it attacks with static she holds Water back for this pokemon could possibly be the end of her. "Go Jethro!" as she took out a pokeball and thre it unleashing the spearow from his housing. "Jethro use Quick Attack!" The bird pokemon arises to the sky and dodges forward to attack the plusle hopefully not to put it out in one felswoop.

Plusel rolls away from the attack and uses staic on the bird pokemon, hoping the attack would hit.

The spearow is hit by the static getting a weird feeling like he had just gotten electricutedand tried shaking it off which he did successfully. Now he had an idea he flew up very high so high that the plusle wouldn't be able to hit him at the moment that was. he was using the attack "fly"

Plusel sees that his attacks wouldn't work, so he uses agility praying that the bird wouldn't be able to track the movements.

High above the arena the spearow used its hawklike eyes to see below. Sees the moment where it'd be best to attack and rains down like a drop of rain coming to the earth about to hit the little plusle that had been darting to and fro on the ground below him.

The attack hits directly and the electric pokemon yelps in pain, but quickly uses spark, since the bird was in close range.

As Jethro was in the air, but close to the ground the spark attack hit him hurting him directly and counters with a swift Quick Attack which was aimed riht for the little pokemon who was the one who had hit him. He flew with grace towards fast as a bullet wondering if the attack would hit, but should for he was staying his course with the pokemon, but if it'd move any which way he'd miss so he used good faith in his attack.

Jethro's attack misses, but he quickly lifts himself, keeping him from slaming into the ground. The small electric mouse attacked with Quick attack.

::As Jethro was going out of the quick attack of his own he looped halfway in order not to collide into something that was deep rooted and hard as heck to boot. As he was going the opposite way the mouse was coming at him with a quick atack of its own. So instinctively he used Tackle to counter the quick attack which would mean that they where going to collide at the same time or earlier.

Both attacks hit, Plusle, being lighter, not to mention smaller, is blasted away by the attack, landing a few feet away, badly wounded by the attack.

Sam sees that the plusle is badly injured thus Jethro as well she decided to use a pokeball and see if the plusle will be capturedd willinly. She throws the pokeball where the plusle is and it opens up as the plusle is drawn inside. Now the only thing that was left for them to do is wait and hope that they get a new friend.

After afew short moments, the pokeball clicks. you have caucht Plusle! He's level 7, knows spark, quick attack, and growl.

Yes! Jethro we have yet another pokemon to add to our collection! She said knowing that Jethro was excited to have another companion and fellow pokemon in their arsenal.
She pockets the pokeball and gets Jethro's out as well "Good job there Jethro you deserve a nice long rest return!" He returns into the pokeball where he gets a much deserveed rest. She is now on her way and they start down the path towards home.

You walk for quiet awhile. Untill the sky slowy starts to grow dim.

Sam walks into a clearing before a cave and pitches camp there as she gets a fire started and food prepared with the help of her pokemon. In a while you could smell food in the air and joy in their spirits for they had traveled a good distance and tomorrow would be going inside the cave to deal with what she needed to. It would be nice to get some practice with a dark, metal, or ground pokemon to show how strong her pokemon where. Thus the thought seeped in about the pokemon that came out at nightime would they come close to the campfire by any chance? She wondered in dismay and wonder.

Most pokemon know a trainer when they see one, so they mostly ignore your little fire. You yawn silently and all of your pokemon are almost asleep.

She saw that the pokemon where keeping their distance which made her feel more safe to sleep they all laid down and watched the fire die, but before it does they all drift off to sleep with sweet dreams. They wake up the next day and get breakfast for all of them and then finally they get to cleaning up camp making it seem like there was no one there. Which was good for them as they finally went on their way renewed and refreshed, but Sam saw a good-sized lake not far and she felt like she wanted to have somewhat of a shower so that she did. While that was going on her pokemon tried their best not to look for respect and let's just say some didn't want to look. Finally she got out now semi-cleaned and having clean clothes on, they continued their trek.

As they so did they didn't see much in the way of pokemon for quite awhile until they came upon a young Sandshrew which was coming out of a hole from the ground. It saw the two walking by and thought that they where going to ruin its home and so it attacked with its speed. Taht was when Fur escaped his pokeball and blocked the attack with a quick attack which saved them from being hit. Sam was startled when the sandshrew had attacked, but was even more surprised when Fur had withdrawn himself without her pulling out his pokeball. "Good Work Fur! Now use Hidden Power." She said advicing the young pokemon's decision. As it used its powerful move and a sandstorm started raging, but the only one that did more harm to it was Fur for he wasn't made for the sand, but the sandshrew was barely getting buffeted by it.

Now however Sam didn't like this and neither did Fur as now it was the sandshrew's turn to attack as it launched a tackle and hit superbly injuring the Furret as he was thrown and the sandstorm still raging wasn't much help to their cause. As Sam hanged in the balance to see how Fur would fair in this battle. Fur launched a Mega Kick towards the sandshrew as he flew through the air with a mighty kick that gave him (sandshrew) some damage back. Now as the opponent saw the strtegy it used a surprising attack as it dug underground to hid itself. So they had to wait for there was no way to attack without missing for now which would be a mistake, but Sam gives him a Potion cause of the Sandstorm and it helps for the time being. That is until he is hit by the sandshrew who had dug itself underground erupting from the ground and hitting him.

Now the battle was on and was getting dangerous and as the sandstorm rages on, but finally dies down and the sand from the ground settles thankfully for if it kept up its strength it would of knocked Fur out. So they tangle for awhile exchanging blow after blow injury after injury. It finally came down to one last attack and this was the clincher if sandshrew succeded Fur would be knocked out. Although if fur did the final move then the Sandshrew would be over as well. But before they can a pokeball is thrown out by sam and hits the Sandshrew as it connects with the pokemon and now the battle continues with the sandshrew inside the pokeball and the light blinks and the pokeball shifts for a time....

::The pokeball finally after awhile clicked you had caught a sandshrew and it is a Female Lv. 7 and knows Scratch, Dig, Sand-Attack, and Quick Attack.::

Sam picked up the pokeball and was glad that she and her pokemon had recieved yet another pokemon to ad to her collection and this was a great addition for dig would help in some tough spots. As she collected Fur and he got resettled in his Pokeball they continue further towards the cave that would take them home to Cereulean City.
