Fishing in Water City

John and Flame where just about to go into the city of Cereulean when he had a brilliant idea to go fishing for they where hungry and also to try and get something with a little electricity in it. For that would defenitely help them in the battle with the gym leader. He stopped at a bank that trailed cerulean he took out his good rod that he had gotten from his dad befoe he left on his journey to be a good trainer. He casted the line in to the water and stood on the bank awaiting for a pull on the line.

You feel a sharp tug suddenly and you pull back on your pole to drag the pokemon out of the water.

He reeled in the line to see what he had recieved for his efforts. "Alright Flame we beter be ready even if I don't use you in the battle." He said as he was reeling in. They wait in suspense to see what it was that would rise from the watery depths...

You pull back and a Chinchou pops out from the water.

He sees the little pokemon with its antennae with the little balls of light hanging from them. He is excited that he had recieved something really good. He notices that it is a water, but is also a electric as well which made him have to think which pokemon to use. He throws a pokeball which releases his newly aquired hoothoot caled "Claw" he calls out "Come on out Claw!" as a owl like pokemon comes out of it. "Claw attack with Confusion!" as the pokemon's eyes become hazzy and a weird sensation overcomes the Chinchou hoping to make it confused or otherwise....

The small water pokemon isn't confused by the attack but is still damaged. It couters Confusion with spark.

John sees a jet of yellow electricity streaking towards Claw. "Dodge the spark Claw!" He said to his newly aquired pokemon. It tries its best to dodge the electric attack...

Claw barly avoids the attack. Landing on his feet he waits for your command.

OOC: You forgot to do your pokemon's attack!

The water pokemon does another spark and Claw is hit by the second attack.

Claw is hit hard and KO'd on the fact that it was still injured from capturing; John returns his new pokemon back and said to the pokeball "Did good Claw you deserve a rest now!". He puts the pokeball on his belt and then against his better thoughts he told Flame to go and battle.
Flame rejoiced for he was battling again, he had seen that the pokemon so far was using electric attacks and wouldn't hurt him to badly, but there was the fact that maybe this pokemon has some water attacks up its sleeve."Flame be careful don't knock it out!" John said to him from the sidelines as flame rushed in with a Quick Attack rushing the pokemon wondering if he would hit the pokemon he moved not to fast, but yet not to slow as well.

Flames attack hits, and the smaller pokemon uses a strong spark and throws Flame away.

Flame of course didn't want to get mad or else he would knock the little pokemon out and that wouldn't be good for John wanted to capture it for some reason. Although he thought that a Flamethrower wouldnt do much damage for it was half water. He opens his mouth and flame spouts out of his mouth towards the small pokemon...

The attack does little dammage but stil pushes the pokemon to almost being KO'd. Chinchou uses its possible last mive, watergun.

The water gun does crtical damage to Flame he wants to counter with a bigger move, but that just wasn't possible right now. He uses another fire attempt, but at the same time a pokeball was thrown and before the attck hit the pokemon was in the pokeball and the attack had seemed to miss. Now instead of Flae being angry at the pokemon he was angry with John for he wanted to level up and put this pokemon in its place. The pokeball rotated the pokemon inside deciding if to accept or deny the pokeball. They both wait one in anticipation another in anger.

The pokeball clicked and Chinchou is caught. Its Lv: 10, knows watergun, spark, and bubblebeam.

He was excited that he had aquired a pokemon with an electric attack he grabbed up te pokeball and said "I'm gonna call ya "Bug" becuase of your anteannae!" he put the pokeball in the last and final hole in his belt. He would have to have his next one transferred to a box in one of the cities.

You head back to the city, ready for anything.
