Standing at 5'7'', Dominic's face is somewhat slender, surprisingly fair, with dark-brown eyes and wispy, blond hair that comes just past his ear. His body is kept in rather good shape with a combination of martial arts and aerobics, giving him a slender, muscular frame. His skin is only slightly tanned, not enough to turn him brown but just enough to give him a nice, healthy glow.
He usually only wears a simple white button-down shirt with the cuffs usually turned up once to allow his wrists to move freely, and a pair of black jeans that hug his legs just enough to show them off without limiting movement too much, finished off with a pair of black and white sneakers. On his back he carries a black and white backpack full of essential items such as food, water, and a few books.

History:
How Dominic met HoundoomDominic lived alone because his dad worked across the world doing Pokémon research for a company and his mom was a Gym Leader. His parents were never around and when they were home they were too busy discussing their work that Dominic had to learn that he was on his own. When his parents left on another business trip, Dominic decided to do a little traveling on his own.
After he packed his supplies in his black and white backpack, he left his house and walked down the road. He eventually came across a large cliff. Dominic did what he knows best and that was thinking of what to do to adapt to the situation. He pulled out a thick rope and tied it around his waist. Then he attached the other end to a sturdy tree. Dominic slowly lowered himself down the face of the cliff. With each step Dominic's heart raced and sweat poured profusely down his face. When he lowered himself about five feet the rope started to fray! Dominic started to panic as the rope started to unravel. All of a sudden *Snap* the rope split into two pieces! Dominic quickly untied himself with a free hand and then decided to climb back up the cliff. He knew if he made the wrong calculation he would plummet to the ground below. He tapped gently on the rock face to see if it was sturdy and then climbed up a few inches. He repeated this process until he could see the thin line of the top of the cliff.
"I'm almost there!" Dominic said as he clutched onto the edge of the cliff with one hand.
He tried to pull himself up but the edge was crumbly. Small pieces of debris fell into Dominic's eyes which temporarily blinded him.
"I can't see!" Dominic cried.
All of a sudden a large figure appeared! Dominic saw a faint outline of the creature. Dominic could smell the stench of raw meat, probably the last meal this beast just had! Dominic tried to climb up but the cliff edge gave way and Dominic felt his body plummet...but not for long! As soon as the cliff crumbled the creature had stretched out it's neck and latched onto Dominic's shirt which saved him form falling! The creature hoisted Dominic up and let him go on the grass, far away from the cliff edge.
When Dominic brushed the last bit of the dirt out of his eyes, he saw what had saved him. It was a Houndoom. Dominic, at first, was scared. He thought that the Houndoom was going to attack. The dog like Pokémon walked over to Dominic and pressed his nose against Dominic's face. Then the Houndoom stuck out it's tongue and licked the dirt off of Dominic's face.
"Hey that tickles!" Dominic said and the Houndoom gently pinned down his new friend.
"Arooo!" Houndoom howled in delight.
Later on that day Houndoom and Dominic went back to Dominic's house. After spending a whole week together, Dominic decided that it was time to explore the world, with his new partner of course! So Dominic packed food, water, a couple of books, and some homemade Pokémon food and ran out the front door. As the duo walked a bit up the road they walked up to the cliff where they had meet.
"What do you think about the nickname Cerberus?" Dominic asked his Pokémon.
"Aroooooo!" Houndoom replied with the best smile it could muster.
"Cerberus it is."
Cerberus grabbed Dominic's shirt and flipped him onto his back. The with Dominic holding onto Cerberus's neck the pair sped away from the cliff and onto an adventure!
Dominic's Personality:
Dominic is a pretty easy going guy. He prefers to settle disputes with logic and compromise rather than conflict. He is a quick thinker and a great strategist, which helps him in battle as well as everyday life. He is the kind of guy who people see as a leader. He is kind toward his Pokémon, treating them as partners rather than pets, and trusts them with his life.

Houndoom's Personality:
Cerberus may seem scary but it sometimes acts like a little puppy. He enjoys giving Dominic a ride on his strong back. When Dominic get's cold, Cerberus will gather firewood and ignite it to keep them warm. He doesn't know his own strength. One time he pinned Dominic down and nearly broke his ribs! If Dominic is in trouble Cerberus is always there. Cerberus's hobbies include eating anything edible, howling at the moon, and protecting Dominic.
