Pewter City... CLOSED

Karasu, after a half an hour of searching, finally came upon the house the man appeared to be describing. He noticed the boards along the windows and the rotted wood and mold growing along the crevices. He walked up the stairs to the porch and knocked on the door. He waited a short while and knocked again, to make sure noone still lived here. After he was certain, he slowly creaked open the door and walked inside. There were boxes of items scattered across the floor and the sun's dim light that was just setting over the horizon gave it an eerie feel. Karasu walked deeper into the room and looked around.

::You continue to look around feeling as if someone is watching you, but there is no one in there except you and your pokemon if any out of their pokeballs. Still you look around for anything that was there.::

Karasu sees nothing of intrest and decides to go upstairs. He walks up the old, dusty stairs, and looks around, noticing several rooms. He chooses one and enters it. He sees more boxes filled with pictures and girls clothing. He also notices a large faded pink canopy bed with one of the posts rotted off and the canopy curtain itself full of holes. Karasu searches yet again for anything out of the ordinary.

::As you search the house for some reason he finds a pokedoll that looked like a stuffed charmander. As you notice that no one is living here and so you pick it up and add it to your inventory for it was a nice decorative doll that would remind him of his pokemon. You keep on searching the house .::

Karasu stuffs the doll into his backpack and continues on to the next room. He notices that this room has not been cleaned out as bad as the others and still contains pictures on the wall, a small, one person bed, and a desk with a T.V. atop it. He enters the room and looks around.

::The room looks like nothing is wrong with it everything is still in its place thatis until the TV for some reason turns itself on and you see this as you go towards it to turn it of for nothing had touched it or turned it on at all. It just for some reason came on by itself could it be possible that something is in here?::

Karasu approaches the T.V. cautiously. Just in case, he sends out Squirtle to back him up. Squirtle looks around notices his surroundings. He and Squirtle both walk towards the T.V. and Karasu pushes the power button to turn it off.

::It turned off with a solid sound as at the same time a bunch of boxes falls over spilling the contents out of it causing a huge mess in its wake. Apparently there was something here and that, that something was having fun with playing with their minds.::

Karasu turned around and noticed the mess, just realizing that Squirtle noticed and was now following the entity down the stairs and into another room. Karasu ran out into the hallway and ran down the stairs after them. He ran through the open door and noticed Squirtle, who had appearently lost this entity, searching through various boxes for the unknown enemy. Karasu looked up and noticed they were in a fairly large dining room with a long table and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

::The chandelier starts to swing as if someone is swinging in it the light bouncing off of the walls making the light dance. Next the chairs seemed to wobble as if they where to heavy for someone who was trying to pick them up as they started to pull themselves out from the table. You and squirtle seem to wonder who or what was causing this weird phenomenon and if it was something why wasn't it making itself visible to them so they could see what was causing all of this ruckus. AS they stand there in wonder.::

Karasu stands at the doorway unimpressed while Squirtle, on the other hand, is freaking out. "Squirtle, calm down, and start letting loose waves of Confusion into the air." Squirtle looks at Karasu and nods. It starts emitting large vibrations of psychic energy into the air around them.

::As the confusion is unleashed upon where it loked like the entity was everything stopped as if nothing had happened and a soft evil laughter was emitted into the air as this entity was having so much fun with these two for they where interesting to him. As he created more mischief for the two of them. At least he ws going to when he was interrupted by the weird waves that came from the squirtle it was using confusion and was trying to unedge the thing from revealing itself. As it seemed to pick the little turtle up into the air a few inches being the same height as his trainer for it loved messing with others in any means necessary. For this one loved doing so and would only reveal itself at the last poosible time.::

"So this one likes to torment... Squirtle, return." The floating Squirtle was quickly absorbed back into it's pokeball and away from danger. Karasu, having done this, walked into the main hall, and took a seat on the floor. "This pokemon must have been here for a long time... It's just like any child, grasping for attention." Karasu, now reading a small pamphlet (that he picked up from the Pokemon Center in Viridian), paid no attention to the huge noise and excitement going on in the other room.

::The pokemon didn't like that the squirtle was put away for what is he goingto have fun with now that its only the boy left? It thought to itself as it thought of what to do next. Which made it a little off of its guard and then a pokeball was on the empty floor waiting for someone to pick it up, but was it a okeball or a trick?::

Karasu, still sitting on the floor, glanced at the pokeball. He turned away from it and kept reading. "I do not believe we have been formally introduced. I am Karasu Matahara, I am a beginner dark and ghost type pokemon collector. I have traveled here from Alamos Town and judging by your current psychic powers you would make a fine addition to my team. You may show yourself, if you wish."

::It certainly didn't like this for the kid wasn't even curious it was like it knew what he was. So he finally put the facade away and became his true form as the pokeball shook as if there wass a pokemon inside one did, but the pokeball had vanished it had shown its true form for before your eyes there was a Rotom in very good spirits for he didn't get much visitors here and only liked making noise which would usually drive them away from him. As he finally shows himself to you it looks towards you in a questionable and confused look as if it was interested in you, but didn't want to go without a fight for that wouldn't be a god thing for him.::

Karasu stood up. "Alright, now that were getting serious, I propose a battle. By the look of this house's condition, you have been here for much fore than a couple of years. It is your decision, either way the battle turns out, to join me or not." Karasu unlatched a pokeball from his belt and threw it onto the wooden floor. From it, Pidgey emerged. It was fully charged and ready for battle, and seemed eager to fight with it's new trainer. "As I said, it's up to you..."

::The rotom got excited for it wasn't the same pokemon, but it was still someone to ave some fun with as he started off by using Double Team as several Rotom's came out of thin air and started moving around hoping to make the pidgey attack the wrong one, but who knows what will happen in a battle for it is always upto the pokemon in the battle.::

"Pidgey, use Gust to bring out the real one!" Pidgey did as it was told and used a fanned out Gust on the images to find which one is real. "Keep up the gust until the real one shows!"

::The gust succedded as all of the fake Rotom's disappeared and the real one was buffeted back from the gust although it was a god thing he was a ghost for it didn't phase him that much. Still it was back to the two of them and he let out a Confuse Ray as it hit the pidgey, but unfortunately didn't confuse it which wasn't god for this ghost for he wanted to play some mind tricks on the little devil of a bird.::

"Pidgey, use another strong Gust to daze it followed by a Tackle!" Pidgey flew back and started whipping its wings through the air to create a burst of wind at the Rotom. After it was charged enough, it let loose it's gale and dove straight towards Rotom for a dive-bomb Tackle.

::The gust buffeted the rotom again making him feel a bit injured and was surprised by the dive bomb tackle that the pidgey was doing, but as it came closer it flew right through the rotom thankful now for being part ghost as the pidgey hit the wooden floor that was beneath him. As he floated there and used Double Team once more seeing if this time the pidgey would be able to miss him for he loved doing little things to make others mad.::

The Pidgey was enraged at the Rotom by being made a fool of and started using Gust wildly throughout the room. Tables and lamps were being blown everywhere and objects were pouring from the boxes. Just then, a big screech was heard and the giant hanging chandelier fell to the floor, nearly missing the startled Pidgey.

::Each thing that flew in the fake rotom's path vanished until that vatal chandelier had dropped it was only the real Rotom and the pidgey as they both where now shaken by the bird's rational move making a wreck of the place that could probably be heard outside the house hopefully now passersby where able to hear the racket taht had just occured. As he floated there still and the pidgey hovered where it was.::

Pidgey, now exhausted from her fit of rage, dropped to the ground and fainted. Karasu, startled by this turn of events, looked up at the Rotom. "Well... I suppose you've won. That crash must have made a lot of noise, I need to get out of here fast before anyone looks in on the situation. As I said at the start of the battle, it's your choice whether you join me or not... You have excellent fighting abilities, it would be an honor to have you on my team." With that said, Karasu walked out a side entrance and dropped a pokeball upon the concrete sidewalk. He walked on, then turned back, as if to bring about Rotom's decision.

::The Rotom thought over what the boy had said and pondered on it when he saw that he was leaving he folowed for some reason he liked this trainer he hadn't had much attention and liked that he liked him for him and not something else. As he hovered around the boy in silence wondering if he would even notice him following the boy?::

Karasu turned around and noticed the Rotom. He took a pokeball from his belt and held it in his hand. "Are you sure you want to join me?" He held up the pokeball towards Rotom, signaling that he should enter it.

::The rotom nodded as it used his ghostly powers to make the pokeball open up as he was sucked inside the pokeball as it sat on the ground and shifted with its blinking red light. As it only took a few seconds when a resounding click was heard and you ahd captured a Rotom.

Karasu continued along the gravel road. He noticed a PokeMart and decided to stock up on a few things before he face the gym leader. He stepped up to its sliding glass door and strode inside.
