The water gun hit the tiny pokemon and she fell into the water which could, no would be its safe haven as she fell in to use it with her attack as she let loose a Spark attack at the staryu hoping that it would strike true and injure nicely.

::The spark attack hits and does damage that shows as the level of life escape from the saryu, but it counters with Water Gun as it goes forward to hit::

Bug tries to escape the water gun, but as it goes over hershe dives underneath submerging herself in the watery depths hopefully to surprise the opponent and do a good attack on it as well.

:: The staryu is thankful for hitting it, but at the same time is confused for there wasn't any trace of the pokemon had it of been knocked out so easily? As it wonders staying there in confusion.::

Bug reveals herself from the watery depths and hits the staryu with a close-up spark that is critical as the yellow line of electricity go forward and shcoks the pokemon.

John is surprised that bug was able to take out the gym leader as he takes her pokeball out and points it at her as she is pulled back into the pokeball "Good Job Bug you did good and you deserve a good rest!" He said for she had done superbly and had gained a level or two for she was a young pokemon and had succeded putting forth that so much effort. As he leaves the Pokemon Gym with his new badge and new experience.

The attack hits and Staryu quickly uses its own watergun.

Flame is hist sqarely with teh swift he had gone down fighting courageously he was down for the count KO'd and John with a frown for he knew this is what would of happened either way. So he brought out his pokeball and finally returned Flame his prized pokemon and pocketed it. Now knowing that the staryu was weakened a good size he was going to bring out his newest little jewel. As he throws it out an explosion happens and a small pokemon that looked weird. Hhe called out "Bug come on out!" and now it was the Chinchou's turn and this one had a good chance for it had only one yet good attack that would devastate most wtaer pokemon. For it had an Electric Attack. Which would be saved for a later time. "Bug use Water Gun" He said knowing that this wouldn't do much damage for it was now water versus water.

Flamethrower and swift both hit, but on stray star manages around the fire, aimed right at Flame.

As the swift comes toward him he lets out a Flamethrower hoping to stop it in its tracks and to hit the staryu as well for he knew that they would both either cancel each other out or one would reign supreme. So the flames and stars connect in the middle trapped in suspension in wonder of which would prevail.
