When we last left our friend John he and his party had just exited the cave on the way to Pewter City. They had gone through a rough time in there and learned alot. For example Flame has progressed so much that he could take care of himself for awhile. As for John well he has newfound faith in his pokemon even though there is still some grwoing up with a couple of them. The newcomers Dude and Rat both are feeling a little neglected at the moment, but that will change.

They travel on the road continuing towards Pewter when they see a poke center on the way. Of course roughing it for a while has its advantages and disadvantages. At the moment theyneed to be revived and so with Flame in the rear they go up to the door and knock at least three times. Then on a whim open the door and a bell sounds in the background.

"Hello! Is someone here?" He calls out into the store looking for a Nurse Joy that could help them. He goes up to the front desk and rings a little tiny bell on the counter signaling someone that somebody was there to heal their pokemon.

Nurse Joy comes to the counter from another room. "Why hello. How can I help you?"

"Flame come here!" John said as the nurse joy arrived in front of them. Flame came behind his master obediently he waited patiently. "Hi we are on a quest to Pewter City, but my pokemon are a little exhausted from the battling in the cave, could by any chance heal them for me?" He said with a smile that had blazing white and striaght as an arrow. it was directed towards the cute nurse in her opaque white coat. He pocketed his other pokeballs and put them on the counter then signaled Flame his most loyal and best friend to go ahead of him so he can be able to be healed alond with the others.

John waited patiently for an answer from the beautiful gal in front of them so they could get healed faster and they can get back to there trip. His black leathr jacket brushed the back of his wast and was tied down a litle by other little trinkets. As well as all the stuff for his pokemon, but he was a strong liitle man and could muscle the weight. While waiting a song struck up in his head and he started to hum merrily.

The nurse smile back and nods. "Alright then, just wait a moment and I'll have them back to tip top shape!" Nurse Joy takes the pokemon into a healing room to restore them.

Flame is a little unsure of what is going on at the moment, but John nods his head telling him that its alright andtht he should follow her. They all go to get healed while John waits in a corner he sees a machine lookingthing not far from him. "It seems to be some kind of hi-tech phone?" He said to himself as he explored it. The next thing he knows he's dialing his home number to give his family an update of how its going on there.

John's Mom: "Hello!"
John: :Hi Mom how's it going there?"
Mom: OH John i didn't think you would be getting back to us so soon."
John: "Yeah i'm at a Pokecenter here not far from ol' Pewter Town. So anyways how are you guys olding up without me there?"
Mom: "Oh we're just doin fine and dandy here your dad is working at the moment he's being doing a lot of overtime since you've gone."
JOhn:"hmm.. I see what about you are you doing ok?"
Mom: "Oh I have the day off todayso i'm just cleaning up the house. How is your quest going hon?"
John: "Well I know have three new pokemon plus the one that i got from Prof. Oak."
Mom: "Wow you must be doing good to have four of your own pokemon."
John: "Yeah it's sure nice well i better go i'll talk to you soon mom. Take care!"
Mom: "Okay Hon be careful and do good Bye!"

The call ends and he waits while his pokemon get healed back to tip-top shape.

The nurse returns and hands you the pokeballs, Flame beside her. "Here are your pokemon. They're all better now."

John walks up to the counter and sees Flame with a positive and energetic way to him as if he was a different Charmander, but it was still the same one. "Thank yo Miss I appreciate you helping us." He collecs the pokeballs and Flame and walks out of the pokecenter.

Flame: [color:dab1=orange]"Weeeee! I"m happy and healthy YAY!"

John shakes his head meaning that Flame was making a dork out of himself at tht moment. They headed towards Pewte with renewed strength ready for anything that would come there way.
