Kairi walked out onto Route 1. She heard that many Pidgey and Ratatta lived here. If she ran into a Pidgey she'd be in luck, with an electric type. Kairi brought out Pachirisu to help her look for a Pokemon. She just stuck her tongue out at her and ran up a tree,"Come on Pachirisu! I need you to help me find a Pokemon to catch," Kairi said. "Pachi!" Pachirisu said turning her head the other way and ingoring Kairi. "That's it! I'm coming up Pachirisu!" Kairi said as she started climbing up the tree which was very big around. She sill back down onto her butt. Pachirisu laughed at her. Kairi kept on trying to climb up the tree,"Come down here Pachirisu!" She demanded.

A wild Sparrow quirked a eyebrow at the scene, a trainer going after it's pokemon? Strange. The bird turned to look at the electric type and dove down. A perfect target! it ramed right into to the electric pokemon, throwing it right off the tree. The Sparrow crowed, which was its way off laughing, and landed ready to fight.

Pachirisu was in danger so it decided to listen to Kairi for once. She turned to Kairi and nodded her head,"Right! Ok, use Spark attack!" Kairi called. Pachirisu started building up electricity in her cheeks and threw the attack at the Spearow hoping to hit it.

The Sparrow ducked under the attack, flying to the side, remaining low to the ground, then skids to a landing, jumping forward with a peck attack at Pachirisu

"Pachirisu dodge it! And try that Spark attack again!" Kairi called. Pachirisu jumped out of the way. She then flipped up into the air releasing Spark at the Spearow once again.

Sparrow takes the attack, and flinches in pain, but takes his chance and attacks with tackle, ramming right into the smaller electric pokemon.

Pachirisu took a little damage but wasn't out yet,"Tackle it while it's low to the ground!" Kairi told Pachirisu. Pachirisu ran at the Spearow using Tackle hoping to hit it.

Sparrow avoids the attack, and pecks at Pachirisu, and jumps back, almost like it was saying. "Come and get me, if you can keep up!"

Spearow's attack missed. "Use Spark again!" Kairi told her. Pachirisu released Spark attack right at the Spearow once again. Kairi got a PokeBall ready and hid it behind her back, so the Spearow wouldn't see it and run away.

Sparrow flinched at the attack, and doesn't see the pokeball, already kinda weak from the attacks.

Kairi noticed how weak it was getting and threw a PokeBall at it, hoping to catch it.

The pokeball hit the Sparrow, and twitched around for a few moments, untill a loud click is heard. Congraduations! You caught a Sparrow! It's level 4 and knows Peck and Tackle!

Pachirisu was impressed. The human had caught her first Pokemon. Maybe she'd stick with her for a little while longer,"Well, Pachirisu I have some other Pokemon now. You can stay with me or decide to leave. It's your choice," Kairi told her. Pachirisu blinked. Kairi pocketed Spearow's PokeBall, and turned and walked away. Pachirisu decided to go with her. "Pachi!" She said as she followed her.
